Tips to Help You Lose 10 Pounds in 6 Weeks (part 1 of 2)

Most of the time, due to inability to commit to a certain diet and exercise regimen, people fail to lose even the slightest significant weight loss in a period of one month. Furthermore, gaining back the lost weight usually occurs if one cannot continue with the commitment to diet. The only solution to this is to increase the time frame for the weight loss journey.

The common cause of failure is work. People who are too busy to lose weight must not commit in the first place lest risking the so-called yo-yo diet. Fortunately, there is a weight loss program that can be easily done by the busiest of people.

Tip No. 1

For your breakfast always opt for one serving of cereal rather than a full English breakfast. The best thing to do when trying to lose weight is to cut the amount of calories you take. A traditional serving of cereal for most people is actually equivalent to two servings. What you should do is to get that measuring cup ready and accurately measure your breakfast cereals: three-fourths to one cup or depending on the label of the cereal.

Tip No. 2

Choose steam and even raw for butter and margarine. Although French cuisine is definitely mouth-watering, butter is an absolute no-no during diets. The same goes for margarine. Steamed vegetables are healthier than those sautéed in butter.

On the other hand, you can still significantly lower your butter and margarine consumption if you cannot completely erase it from your healthy must-eat list. A decrease of one tablespoon of butter everyday can save you more than 4,000 calories, which is enough to help you lose pounds in six weeks.
