It is healthier to eat a sandwich for lunch instead of a full lunch meal. However, make sure that you skip the mayonnaise and cheese on your sandwich. These two packs a lot of calories that require some time to burn. Instead of putting cheese or mayonnaise, opt for mustard, which contains a healthier five calories per teaspoon. If you have the habit of eating a piece of sandwich everyday, you would be able to save up to 8,800 calories – a two and a half pounds weight loss.

Tip No. 5

Always be mindful of the extra calories you consume sometimes unconsciously. Most people don’t realize that the number one contributing factor in weight gain is the habit of taking small bites from others’ meals.
